This upcoming mission aims to perform a minimum of 100-120 major surgical cases such as hernias, gallbladders, gastric ulcers, diverticulitis, thyroids, parathyroids, lipomas, cleft lip and palate, parotid mass, goiter, breast mass, myoma, and ovarian mass, as well as minor operations for superficial soft tissue masses and cysts. The location of the mission is the city of San Jose in the Philippines province of Mindoro Occidental on the island of Mindoro.

Volunteers needed include a team of specialists consisting of general surgeons, plastic surgeons, otolaryngologists, gynecologists, surgical assistants, anesthesiologists, cardiologists, and internists. Additionally, surgical scrub nurses are needed for major operations. The deadline for application is May 1, 2008.

February 3-10, 2007

This mission provided over 480 patients with medical services, including over 260 surgical procedures.

Laguna Medical Mission, Philippines

Almost 280 patients received medical care from this mission, which included 22 ophthalmological surgical procedures.

October 4-8, 2004

Medical services were provided to 460 patients during this mission. Also, eyeglasses donated by the San Diego Lions Club were distributed.
