Medical Mission 2008 - Tentative Schedule of Activities

November 14, Friday:

• Arrival of medical team.
• Meeting with local officials, coordinators, and volunteers.
• Set-up of supplies and medicines in designated area (near the Operating Rooms) supplies that need to be autoclaved will be turned over before the mission starts.

November 15, Saturday:

• Continuation of meeting if necessary, otherwise, a light day in preparation for the hectic schedule ahead.

November 16, Sunday:

• Visitation of patients and chart reviews for Monday's procedures. Final decision for surgeries depending on the reviews.

November 17, Monday to November 21, Friday:

• Work from 8 AM to 6 PM.
• Consultations and operations.
• Post-operative care.
• Breakfast at 7 AM and dinner at 7 PM.
• Lunch at the hospital.

November 22, Saturday:

• Final visit with patients and post-operative care turnover.

November 23, Sunday:

• Catholic mass in the morning.
• Departure or some team members may opt to stay for a day or two to explore the area.
